Irma Perez Martinez, DMD, MS

Diplomate, American Board of Pediatric Dentistry

Dr. Irma is a board-certified pediatric dentist who was born and raised on the beautiful Caribbean island of Puerto Rico. She is also a specialist in orthodontics. After graduating with honors from dental school, she was admitted to the UCLA School of Dentistry where she studied for four years, completing advanced specialty training programs in both pediatric dentistry and orthodontics.

Her child-friendly personality and dual specialty credentials give her a unique perspective on management of the developing smile. As an orthodontist, she is also qualified to provide orthodontic treatment for adults, including Invisalign®.

Dr. Irma is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, California Society of Pediatric Dentistry, American Association of Orthodontists, and Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontists. She is fluent in English and Spanish.

With more than eight years of experience working with children and teenagers, Dr. Irma loves being a pediatric dentist and orthodontist! Her goal is for every child to have healthy dental habits for a lifetime.

When she is not busy creating and maintaining beautiful smiles, she enjoys yoga, dance, traveling, and spending time with her family (including a darling Pekingese dog named Eva).

Because of her warm personality and expertise in the field, Dr. Irma was interviewed on the Telemundo broadcasting network about the importance of pediatric dentistry while a resident at UCLA.

If your child hasn’t been to the dentist in more than six months, make an appointment today! Dr. Irma is currently accepting new patients.  We welcome you and your child to Five Cities Pediatric Dental Group & Orthodontics, and we will do everything possible to make both of you feel at home.
